OneStone: 22-23 Rocket

OneStone is a two stage launch vehicle initially drawn up for the high power section of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) Rocketry Club. Its primary goal was to provide proof of concept for two stage operations as well as demonstrate more advanced capabilities of the NCSSM Rocketry high power section. It includes a small bay in the fore section of the rocket for payloads of moderate mass. Additionally, the sustainer section has dual-deployment recovery.

My Involvement

I was lead designer for OneStone, and a major part of its research, development, and production. While at the end of the day OneStone was a NCSSM Rocketry team effort, none would deny the outsize role I had in the process with major contributions on all levels.
